Wizard Rod's dominance comes from three factors working together: the blade's high mass (35.2–35.8g) gives it outstanding momentum; the 1-60 ratchet lowers the centre of gravity for maximum stability; and the Hexa bit's unique geometry prevents burst by spreading impact across multiple contact points.
Its main vulnerability: Shark Scale with an aggressive setup can force it out of bounds with the reversal attack. For this reason top players increasingly carry both — Wizard Rod as a base combo and Shark Scale as an offensive option depending on the matchup.
